My name is Tim and I am Two Fish. I have always loved photography growing up. My parents both were into the photography and my mom even worked at a photo developing shop in Nashville, TN when she was in high school. So when it came time for me to pick up my first camera it would actually be one of theirs, a Canon AT 35mm. That camera went a lot of places with me and was the camera I shot black and white with for my high school photography class. It was there in Mrs. Peggy Harris' class that I'd learn a lot about the skills of a photographer that I carry through today.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm by no means a full fledged professional photographer. I'm more of an emerging artist in the field. I've got a lot to learn still and a lot of road to walk to gain the skills to call myself a professional. Photography has always been a hobby of mine and after many tries at occupations I've found myself shooting pictures more and more. So why not take this hobby and passion of mine and do something with it. If I fail then its another thing I can mark of the list saying I've done it.
I'm seeking the fullest in photography. I'm considered by some as a jack of all trades and that is how I would like to treat my photography. I want to explore all of what is out there from lifestyle to beauty and sports to stock. I really want to try all the genres and try to be great at all of them. As for now, I am strong at pet photography and still need work in portrait and studio photography. Yet, everyday I try to seek those opportunities to be a better photographer... even it is setting aside time to write the whole experience all done.
For the technical stuff, I use a Canon EOS D350 (Rebel XT) and yes that's a digital. I have 3 lens: 18-55 f3.5-5.6 kit lens, 55-250 f4-5.6, and a 50mm f1.8. I have a 2.4 GHz 2gb RAM Intel MacBook Pro that does all of my post production needs. Software I use Apeture 3 for my photo file management and Photoshop CS1 for photo editing. As well, I have one Canon 580EX Flash unit with generic brand wireless trigger units for off camera flash as well as a remote shutter release.
